Ver 1 of any complicated device is going to have issues. I just cancelled my preorder for a D300 and bought a D200 to keep me happy while the inevitable bugs are sorted out.
@Jeff Beck - if you don't understand the value of 10fps and ISO6400, then you will never understand the justification.
