It doesn't appear that a single one of the new models sports a wide angle lens? Is a good compact form factor (like the S500) with OIS and more than 3x zoom (less important) really that hard to combine with a wide angle lens? The wide angle Canon IXUS/Elph models are too fat for my tastes.
