The next thing you know, they will put in a hard drive and windows and call it something like tha laptop. Yeah thats a good name for it.

You are right, digital picture frames are more and more going in the direction of laptops. I personally think this is wrong. The main advantage of a digital photo frame compared with a laptop is that it is simple to use and therefore also appropriate for persons, who are not that familiar with modern technology. In my view, they should concentrate on displaying photos (if some want, maybe some mp3), but I think nobody will watch a movie on a digital photo frame. So why offer these additional and costly frills?
