xD and SD isn't too surprising. The Fuji F40, which is already out, also supports xD and SD. I wouldn't be surprised if the other cameras they're releasing also support both. Also, that whole "AA instead of Li-On" thing is a plus. AAs are easy to get so if you run out of juice in the middle of a photoshoot it's not hard to get more. Also, a set of AAs can recharge in 15 minutes and power a good 300-400 shots. How many Li-Ions can make that claim? And of course, the biggest bonus, they're cheaper! No propitiatory junk!
What I really want to know is the focal length of the lens. It has 10x, but is that a 4.444~ focal multiplier for a 28mm equivalent wide-angle like my S6000 or is that your normal 35ish mm? Also I'm surprised they dropped the maximum ISO back down to 1600. Most of their bridge cameras have a maximum of 3200. Maybe they realized most 3200s are junk? Still, it'd be nicer to have the option. Also, I really hope they increased the EVF resolution. Some other Fuji cameras (read: my S6000) only have 115,000 pixel viewfinders and that's just not good enough.
