Indeed so. Single-digit models always seem to be the top-end of the EOS market. 1D 1Ds 5D etc, all brilliant cameras. The xxD series don't seem to have changed much since the 20D (Which I own and I'm very happy with until I can afford a 5D, I WANT a full-frame sensor!) - afterall, the 20D was voted camera of the year a couple of years running.. for good reason. Canon seem to be bringing out these intermediate models just for the hell of it - c'mon guys, give us a Prosumer full-frame sensored camera!
