Mike Panic - you took the words right out of my mouth. The Sony Alpha also does not seem to perform as well as the XTi in most comparisons. The only thing that would make me go to this if I already had all the gear from my Maxxum (including the proprietary hot shoe accessories).

maybe they are coming with full frame on this one. Digital Photography Blog is not a good source.
