I've used the original Nexto CF for about the last 5 months and it's totally great - infact, it's on my belt now (it comes in a very cool leather belt case) as I've been out photographing Covent Garden for the last couple of hours...
The CF was already lightning fast at dumping my 5D's huge RAW files (ok, not quite as big as a P45's RAW files, but still quite big!), so that they have improved the speed can only be a good thing.... The only issue I'd say with the original CF is the battery life could be a little better, oh, and at night I wish the screen was backlit... Maybe they'll have improved that...
And re: the screen, it's not THAT big a deal really. I'm sitting in the cafe now and I will plug the CF into my Powerbook with the FireWire 400 cable and check the photos out and prune them directly on the drive using Lightroom... It's so fast you don't need to download the photos to your hard drive to work on them.
